Rehearsal Dinner Scavenger Hunt

A couple years ago, after a friend told me about a photo scavenger hunt he went on, which required participants to take pictures in front of famous San Francisco landmarks, I knew I wanted to have a party just like this.  The only catch was, his party took ALL DAY!  I wasn't willing to make my guest sacrifice a whole day, so I came up with the idea of choosing a particular neighborhood and making a scavenger hunt in which the guests had to solve clues to figure out which bar they had to go to...

Wedding Save-The-Dates, Invites, Etc.

My friend Lindsay, of Iamnotastalker.com recently got married.  Given her love for everything Hollywood, when she asked for help planning her wedding, in particular the Save the Date card and invitations, a movie theme seemed like a no-brainer.

Her husband was concerned of going too far with the theme and making a mockery of their wedding, but I assured him we could run with the movie theme while keeping everything elegant and classy.

Cupcake Bridal Shower Invite

It is always flattering when someone sees something you have created and then says "I need her to create something for me!"  It is truely the best form of flattery.  Just that happened when a woman who is planning a bridal shower saw a birthday banner I had made for a surprise birthday party a couple months ago and contacted me to make invitations for the shower. 

She had a very tight budget, but as I always say, "We can do this!" Here is the invite that came out of our planning sessions.

Welcome!

I like to be creative.  Though my regular 9 -5 job doesn't always allow for creativity, I try to find a hour or so each day to be creative, or enjoy someone elses creativity.  I've developed this blog to showcase my projects for Parties, Paper (scrapbooking), Palace (around the house).  I hope to give others ideas and hopefully have them share theirs.  I personally believe everyone is creative in their own way, but if you are one of those people who haven't yet found your inner Martha Stewart...
